Job description

Following our approval as a provider for the National Tutoring Programme, we are recruiting for Tutors of all abilities to work with us to support the schools of Manchester.

If you are a graduate, a Teaching Assistant with over 6 months experience or a fully qualified Teacher then this may the role for you. The subject experience we are looking for is English, Maths, Science, Humanities and MFL at both a Primary and Secondary Level.

Experience of supporting SEN is desirable but not essential for the role.

The role would entail working with a school to provide tuition for the vulnerable young people that are able to be placed into the programme in 15 hours block across a agreed space of time.

The ideal tutor would have:

  • Experience of 1:1 work or full class teaching
  • Flexibility
  • A Committed and dedicated attitude
  • A passion for supporting those who need it most

In addition, you will need to complete all necessary vetting checks including proof of identity, a DBS on the Update Service and producing two recent references. This would then be followed by a free CPD and safeguarding course to make sure you are fully trained and prepared for the role.
