Factory Operative
DM Recruitment are looking for experience Machine Minders for a prestigious company in Hortonwood, Telford.
You are required to start off on the production line and are get trained up over the first 12weeks. The company are a dried fruit and nut factory.
Your role whilst as a Machine Minder will include;
Monitoring the work area to ensure the workplace is safe and all machinery is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness Sharing responsibility for the implementation and maintenance to the requirements of Standard Operating Procedures Ensuring all daily machine safety checks are completed in line with the trained SOPs and PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedule Ensure that machines are set up in time for the next job ensuring prompt changeovers whilst avoiding high downtime Ensuring product changeovers are performed with minimal downtime but in a safe and accurate manner Collaborating effectively with the Packaging Team/ Packaging Coordinator to ensure that all labels, packaging and film is on the line and ready to use in good time before job is ready Liaising with and reporting any issues to the Line Leaders and engineers in a clear and concise manner Adhering to World Class standards at all times.
You will start off on minimum wage and once the 12 weeks is completed then you will be paid at a higher rate.
The shifts rotate on a weekly basis; Monday to Thursday 6am until 2.30pm. Friday 6am until 12.30pm. Monday to Thursday 2.30pm until 11pm. Friday 12.30pm until 7pm.
Previous work experience in a fast paced food environment is advantageous
