Location: Parkgate, South Yorkshire
Salary: Competitive
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 9am to 5pm)

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to join our team - the Technical Assistant will provide support to the Head of Business Technology & Support on all technical & product-related activities.
About the Technical Assistant Role:
The job holder will resolve customers queries relating to our product ranges including thermostats/programmers, Smart Home (internet based), Underfloor and others. Part of the role is to help maintain the company's customer service platform by updating product information.
The successful candidate should expect to become one of the company's product experts - therefore an aptitude for learning and development is a must!
The job holder will do all tasks within his/her level of skill and ability and perform any other duties as may reasonably be required from time-to-time.
Technical Assistant Requirements:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical advice in simplistic terms and provide detailed technical guidance on products
Must be flexible and have a "hands-on" attitude
Good work ethic, reliable and punctual
Aptitude for learning and developing skills
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
Good English writing - to be able to provide professional advice via email
Confident and clear telephone manner with experience of dealing with large volumes of calls
Desirable:
Heating & electrical background
Diploma/Certificate/Technical level-education
