Technical Bid Engineer
First Achieve's Engineering Division are working with a Global Supplying company Industries. Due to substantial investment and Growth are seeking a Bid Support Engineer to join their Team.

Interface with the Sales and Commercial departments, to understand the engineering requirements of prospective work.
Production of concise and effective technical proposals in response to customer requests.
Co-ordination of resources to achieve the required engineering input.
Attendance at meetings with customers, including delivery of technical presentations and participation in engineering and commercial discussions.
Development of standardised documentation packs for proposal use and trend analysis to assist in directing future company product development activities.
In this position you will be based at the company premises, but you will be required to travel to customer sites overseas frequently.Skills Required:
BSc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Apprenticeship with HNC.
Excellent communication skills to enable clear presentation of technical information
Able to produce hand calculations
Experience with solid modeling design tools
Structural analysis using finite element modelling (FEM)
Experience with Microsoft products, word, excel etc
