I am currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a secondary school in Wakefield on a long term basis. The role will be working with secondary aged individuals with Special Educational Needs and will require you to provide essential and life changing support to pupils with learning difficulties.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience working with or caring for individuals with SEN needs and/or challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities
*Assist students during class and making sure they are on task
*Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupils
*Working with small groups and 1:1
*Liaising with fellow colleagues to get the most out of your pupils' development
*Be an active part in setting and the learning environment
Requirements
*Experience working with people with special needs
*Be able to work with learners that have various learning difficulties including epilepsy and autism
*Have an understanding of students with emotional needs
*Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
*The ability to work as an individual and as a part of a team
*Be flexible in your approach to education
