We are seeking a self-motivated individual, ideally with an engineering background, for this Trainee Field Engineer role which involves installing & configuring data equipment on the Waste Water network. In time you will become a fully trained Field Engineer.
This is a full-time permanent position working for a Company that puts its Field Engineers at the core of its business. The Company is outstanding to work for and as a result staff turnover is very low.

* A starting salary of £18,000pa (this will then rise by a further guaranteed £1,000pa after an initial trial period)

Trainee Field Engineer - Daily activities
* Driving from site to site and working outside in all weather conditions
* As a trainee you will be sharing a company van with an experience Field Engineer
* The team covers both local and non-local sites particularly in the Wessex region
* You must enjoy working outdoors and driving long distances as these are integral to the role
* Lifting, carrying and moving equipment and chamber covers
* Entry into and working within confined spaces
* Installing and maintaining a variety of mechanical instrumentation
Trainee Field Engineer - The Candidate
* Full driving licence essential
* Electronics/engineering experience an advantage
* Previous experience in the Water Industry desirable but not essential
* Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with customers or clients
* Strong computer skills
* Ability to work as a team & learn new skills
* Flexibility to accommodate business needs
