Sales Assistant (Homeware Retail)
The Burford Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a growing luxury homeware and interiors company to find 2 x Sales and Customer Service Assistants for their flagship store based in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Located in beautiful Moreton in Marsh, the renovated 16,000 square foot showroom includes a spacious atrium gallery, courtyard garden and exterior buildings all filled with inspiring furniture and homeware, making this a really exciting opportunity for an confident and experienced homeware sales assistant with a passion for interiors and design.
As well as contributing to sales on the shop floor, you will also ensure that those customers not able to visit a store in person receive the same quality service via phone, email and webchat as you take turns to support the growing online sales of the business.
To meet the requirements of the role you must:
* Be an experienced and competent salesperson with a friendly style
* Have a passion for homeware, interiors or interior design
* Be a confident and competent IT user
* Experience using webchat (purechat) / messenger / social media would be an advantage!
With most customers visiting the store over the weekend, the successful candidates will be required to work 5 days over 7 with. Additional flexibility in terms of start and finish time may be required from time to time to accommodate online customers.
