Part time Self-Employed Chartered Structural Engineer required to cover North West London area. 1-2+ days per week. Home based.
£250.00 per inspection and report, £35 per hour for design work

Are you an experienced UK Chartered Structural Engineer looking for more flexibility? Our client is offering a part-time, home-based role to suit your lifestyle, whether you are semi-retired or a require flexible working.
The role is a varied mix of domestic and small commercial work split between inspections and reports on structural defects, and structural design work. You will also undertake construction-related services including responding to queries from contractors and occasional site visits during construction.
This is a unique opportunity to work locally as part of a team of associates, handling jobs on a self-employed basis and choosing flexible hours. Administration, paperwork and invoicing are undertaken at head office near Ashford in Kent, enabling you to focus on the skills you bring.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in the industry
Knowledge of Health and Safety, including CDM
Basic surveying tools and design software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Own car essential
