The job

As a crucial part of the Technical team, your role as Graduate Technical Assistant will be to provide support to the Technical/QA Team to ensure Quality Assurance and Technical compliance is adhered to. You will work cross functionally with all departments to maintain the company quality management systems and procedures.

Responsibilities:

* Review and document work processes between Technical and NPD

* Assist with Threat Assessment and Critical Control Point (TACCP) reviews

* Update product specification generation documents

* Assist the Technical team with product launch checks

* Participate in internal audits and work with the team to maintain accreditation and minimise non-conformances

* Assist with (Good Manufacturing Practice) GMP reporting

* Carry out cleaning validation checks, monitoring processes and report on findings

Your experience

You will be educated to a degree level within a food science related discipline and previous experience working in a food manufacturing technical team is highly desirable such as a University placement or post-graduate food industry job.

You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of nutritional based technical information and any additional food manufacturing qualifications such as HACCP, Food Safety, Internal Auditing etc would be an advantage.

To succeed, you will be well organised, have strong attention to detail plus excellent communication skills.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, standard office hours.
