Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in Southampton, Hampshire. PRS are currently looking for a M&E Technician to be based at a Commercial site in Southampton. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a M&E Technician with reactive and repair work experience. This is a temporary to permanent role, so therefore he or she will start on a temporary basis with an hourly rate paying £18.00 per hour. If you perform well the role could be extended/be made a permanent fixture.
The hours are Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm.
The role:
Reporting to the M&E Supervisor
To provide technical engineering support for the Hard FM Services department and carry out preventative maintenance to deadline plus maintain paperwork to support PPM activities
To respond to reactive and emergency faults and conduct reactive maintenance work to ensure compliance with KPI's
The person:
A trade apprenticeship and relevant current qualifications, such as City & Guilds / BTEC National Diploma / NVQ 3 or equivalent in a relevant electrical / mechanical discipline
Experience in building services is required
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Demonstrate good planning, organising and prioritising skills
Ability to show examples of using initiative and judgement to resolve problems
ISOH or equivalent H&S training preferred
Experience:
building services: 1 year (Required)
C&G level III electrical qualifications or equiv: 1 year (Required)
Education:
Certificate of Higher Education (Required)
