Pay:£100 - £180 per day
PK Education are seeking to appoint a caring and resilient SEND Teacher for an Independent Living Teacher role in a welcoming Specialist SEND School in the Bury area.
This SEND Teacher position is to start in January 2021, initially on a temporary basis and if successful will lead to a permanent contract. The role will involve supporting students with a range of SEND, including PMLD, and teaching them the skills required to live independently. We are looking for a teacher who has relevant experience and is passionate about ensuring vulnerable young people receive the best education possible.
Candidates should:
Be experienced teaching/supporting students with SEND, preferably PMLD
Have relevant qualifications
Be determined to inspire and motivate children to achieve their full potential
Ideal candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
B Squared
Thrive
P-Levels
Makaton
PECS
Additional requirements:
Reference details will be requested prior to registration
Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service - if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one
