We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join a small, dynamic, fast paced planning team at the heart of the factory. If you are experienced in food manufacturing planning and can handle the pressure and demands of fast paced, short shelf life products and ever changing customer needs we want to hear from you!
The role of a Production Planner is pressurised but highly rewarding, knowing that without you products would not make it to major UK customers on time. The business is vast and diverse and will open the doors to many career opportunities. As a Production Planner you will be working at a factory on site in a team of three to schedule the production plan for a complex factory with a premium customer. Scheduling product to the lines, on time and adapting production plans to daily changes will require a cool head under pressure, excellent communication skills and planning systems experience.
Role:
Create and Issue production plans Aim to hit 100% customer service levels at all times.
Plan internal / external stock storage Ensure fluid communication throughout supply chain and with customers
Plan and raise materials ordersAttend daily production and planning meetings and contribute to identifying risks and making improvements short and long term
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in production planning in food manufacturing. You will show advanced Excel skills including - visual basic and modelling and will be able to learn planning systems quickly.
