Transition Service Delivery Manager

A national security clearance is required for this role but candidates not holding this level of clearance will be considered.

Description

Role Purpose The planning, implementation, control, review and audit of service provision, to meet customer business requirements. This includes negotiation, implementation and monitoring of service level agreements, and the ongoing management of operational facilities to provide the agreed levels of service, seeking continually and proactively to improve service delivery and sustainability targets. The overall financial management, control and stewardship of the IT assets and resources used in the provision of IT services, ensuring compliance with all governance, legal and regulatory requirements. The overall management and control of the operation of formal contracts between own organization and suppliers, for supply of products and services.

Produce/Review/Update: Comms & stakeholder plan; Governance & responsibility Mgmt plan; Communication & stakeholder plan; Working with Service Architect to establish Operational Readiness Reviews and Service Readiness Reviews Work with the Infrastructure Architect to verify transferred equipment from OSP & Authority and receive and Verify details of in-flight projects or other work.

Qualifications

Programme Management, Project Management, Service Delivery Management and Technical architecture. Service Delivery Manager to manage delivery of internal and external resources. Remote provision of: Port Discovery, Technical support Design, Migration configuration and Documentation Site Migration - DII to NSoIT Fixed LAN Documentation Justification Mandatory Skills Required: Managing service delivery. Managing third parties. Reporting. Strong communication. Customer focus. Good communication skills. Desirable Skills Required: MOD experience. DII experience. Migration experience. Networking experience advantageous. Experienced working with Service Architects, new Service projects and ideally transition of new services
