Our clients are a well-established business with depots throughout Scotland and due to significant growth require a transport supervisor for their Fife operation. What is essential is your Passion, Drive, Commitment which matches the client's values. You will be a dynamic well tested individual looking for a look on the managerial/leadership ladder or have some relevant experience already.
The role of transport supervisor will involve the following-
Ensuring transport operations are compliant (Drivers / Vehicles)
Ensuring vehicles are planned efficiently to ensure delivery / collections are met
Vehicles are planned for PMI Inspections / MOTS / Repairs
All vehicles entering the Yard are directed in a safe manner - Company / CustomerSkills / Experience for suitable candidates
Previous experience working in a transport co-ordinator / supervisor role - min 2 years
Experience of working within a similar role
Possess or Working toward CPC (management)
Compliance experience of managing Drivers Hours & Vehicle Maintenance
Yard Marshall / Banksman experience
HGV Licence preferable Hours of work will be Monday to Friday (Apply online only)
Small fleet but you must be fully conversant with all regulations and the motivation of a team of drivers. You will be expected to be customer facing and as such must have outstanding customer service skills.
Salary for this role will be in the region £25,000 +dependent on Experience.
