Graduate Engineers
POSITION: GRAD. NAVAL ARCHITECTS, MECHANICAL ENGINEERS, CIVIL ENGINEERS
REPORTS TO: ENGINEERING MANAGER
QUALIFICATIONS:
All discipline multi-skilled graduate engineers. Excellent literacy and administration skills with a professional approach, easy going nature is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. The ability to work autonomously and use initiative is essential. Willing to learn new skills.
LOCATION:
WHERSTEAD IPSWICH
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS:
* Project Interface Engineer
* Work to Company standards in respect of Project Management;
* Design and Analysis of floating and fixed offshore structures including CALM Buoys, FPSO vessels and consultancy work;
* Analysis of offshore structures using hydrodynamic analysis, mooring analysis, stability analysis, structural assessments.
* If not already familiar with software tools learn how to use Ansys, Ariane, Hydrostar, Orcaflex, GHS, Python,
* Any other duties required
* Must be prepared to travel to site fabrication yards around the World
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
* Ability to work in a small office environment
* Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
* A mature approach work autonomously
* Ability to pay attention to detail
* Self-motivated / Use initiative
