Are you a passionate educator with a creative mind and initiative?
GSL Education are currently working with a client based in York to recruit a number of specialist mentors for the new term. The provision seeks empathetic, committed and resilient individuals to support learners with complex needs, SEMH and challenging behaviour. Work will include leading enrichment activities and opportunities for students to learn through indoor and outdoor activities. To be successful, you will need to be willing to get involved in activities using the natural environment. Engagement and re-integration of learners is key and you may be left to lead small group sessions and must feel comfortable in doing so.
To be considered, you must hold experience working with such learners which can be referenced and hold a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
