Learning Support Assistant
Do you hold a Level 3 CACHE/NVQ certificate in Children's Learning and Development or equivalent? Are you able to work well independently and as part of a team to support primary pupils?
An amazing opportunity has arisen for a strong Learning Support Assistant in an Ofsted "Good" primary school located in the London Borough of Redbridge.
The school is very established and currently provides excellent education across the EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Pupils require a range of support from academic to special needs. The post requires a talented Learning Support Assistant who is flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential while remaining engaged in their learning.
Applicants must possess an NVQ/CACHE Level 3 qualification or equivalent and have a minimum of 3 months experience working with children within a school setting as a Learning Support Assistant. You will need to feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to take direction from a class teacher.
The role will include:
Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
1:1 work with students who require additional support (ASD,EBD)
Leading group work as a Learning Support Assistant
Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
