Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (the UHB) is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.

THIS POST IS FIXED TERM FOR 24 MONTHS DUE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICE

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB) recognises that its staff are its greatest resource and is committed to maintaining and improving the well-being of its employees. As part of this ongoing investment in well-being, the UHB Health Charity has approved two year funding for proactive well-being initiatives.

This new Health intervention Administration and project support officer post is integral to the success of these initiatives and will take the lead responsibility for administrative support vital to maintain and develop wellbeing services. Working alongside the Head of Employee Health and Well-being Services and with a new team of Health intervention Co-ordinators, the successful candidate will support the development, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of well-being projects across the whole UHB.

The post holder will develop close working relationships with Learning and Education Department, Clinical Boards, external wellbeing providers including other public sector and third sector organisations and be able to represent the Head of Employee Health and Wellbeing Services and Health Intervention co-ordinators at relevant internal and external meetings.
