The health and care system in Wales is facing a huge challenge as it works to tackle COVID-19 within its communities. Aneurin Bevan University Health Board set up a testing unit almost overnight to ensure that anyone who develops symptoms of COVID-19 can quickly be tested to find out if they have the virus.

We’re four months on and the testing unit is an essential (and hopefully temporary) component of the plan to stop the spread of the virus. The Health Board is looking for experienced and reliable registered nurses to support the teams of HCSWs to continue to test people across care homes, in communities and at its drive-through centre.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
