The Trust Provides care for over 150,000 Outpatients and Inpatients each year, Performing over 3,000 Angiograms/Cardiac Catheterisations, 1,800 Thoracic Surgery Operations, 2,400 Coronary Angioplasties, 2,000 Treatments for Respiratory failure and 1,200 Heart Bypass operations.

Harefield Hospital is situated in extensive grounds in the countryside just outside London. Close to the M40 and M25 and has on-site car parking.

Harefield hospital provides a comprehensive range of specialist Heart and Lung health care, ranging from Cardiac and Thoracic surgery,including Transplant to Minimal Invasive surgery with a brand new Private Patients Unit which opened in December 2017.

With more than 780 nursing staff at Harefield Hospital, 5 operating theatres, 4 catheter laboratories and a Fast Track High Dependency Unit, as a Trust we are the leading UK provider of respiratory care and are national leaders in the specialist areas of Paediatric Cardiorespiratory care, Congenital Heart Disease and Cystic Fibrosis.

What we are looking for:

  • NMC Registered Nurses.
  • Excellent Communication, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work within a Multidisciplinary Team/Organization.
  • Willingness to participate in continuing professional development.
  • Flexibility in Shift Patterns ranging from Earlies to Long Days and Nights.
  • Looking for regular work/ad hoc shifts.
