E Grade Nurse - Orthopaedics/Spinal Surgery (12m Maternity Cover) - COVID-19 in London

We have an exciting opportunity for an E Grade Nurse to join our Orthopaedics & Spinal Surgery Unit on a 12m Maternity Cover contract, based at our main Hospital (W1G) with an inclusive salary range on offer up to £43,000. Job Description

The postholder will facilitate the provision of a co-ordinated, high quality inpatient service to patients in consultation with the inpatient manager.

Job Type: Full time, 12-month contract (Maternity Cover)

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To provide efficient, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to patients at the Clinic.
  • To be competent in the recognition of life threatening/ emergencies and act appropriately.
  • Disseminate best clinical practice for nurses, students, and healthcare assistants.
  • Network and co-ordinate with specialist practitioners and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure dissemination of holistic patient care. 

Skills & Experience

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Ortho or Spinal surgery
  • Sound and evidence-based knowledge in general nursing skills as well as Orthopaedic and Spinal surgery care.
  • Evidence of good interpersonal and communication skills
