Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Nursing and Healthcare
We are investing in our nursing team following continued growth in our provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing Nursing and Healthcare subject group at Leeds Beckett University, delivering education across a range of courses and contributing to our research ambitions.
Whether you are new to academia, from professional practice or an experience academic - we are looking to appoint a number of Lecturers / Senior Lecturers to complement our existing skills and to grow our teaching and research base as a group.
We require someone who can provide high-quality teaching, learning and assessment in the area of Nursing education across a range of courses, including undergraduate/postgraduate and apprenticeship. Evidence of relevant professional experience and knowledge in the areas of Nursing along with registration with the NMC (and eligible for ongoing registration) is essential. We would also desire someone with experience of working in Higher Education, with the skills and abilities to deliver lectures and seminars and with good understanding of education practice. The ability for someone to undertake and support research activity or develop their own research portfolio is desirable. The ability to work co-operatively as a member of a large academic team is necessary.
