Commercial Gas Engineer / Multi Skilled Engineer
Commercial Gas or Multi Skilled Engineer required to work in and around the Birmingham area for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 4 regional offices and been expanding since it formed 18 years ago. Our client offers their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC solutions including commercial boilers, heating systems, plant equipment, air conditioning and chillers.
Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with factories such as Tate & Lyle and Proctor & Gamble, hotel chains including Hilton, Thistle and Marriott as well as David Lloyd Leisure and Wren Kitchen stores.
The Service Engineer must hold valid tickets and be able to cover the Birmingham area for the clients listed above with day to day tasks including planned and reactive service and maintenance visits as well as responding to breakdowns performing fault finding tasks and carrying out repairs.
Our client is renowned for providing first-class customer service and exceptional quality of work with their engineers clearly demonstrating a high-level technical mastery. They reward engineers based on their contribution and performance with a bi-annual bonus scheme of up to £2,600.
They expect the Multi Skilled Engineer to have experience of;
Direct fired air heaters
Gas Boilers - up to 1,000 kW - (Modular, condensing, atmospheric)
Direct fired water heaters up to 600 kW
Pumps, Plate heat exchangers, Expansion vessels and pressurisation units
Advantageous VRV, VRF, Splits & Multi Splits
Commercial Gas or Multi Skilled Engineer Position Requirements
CODNCO1-Commercial, ICPN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CDGA1
Commercial Gas safe registration
Advantageous Fgas Cat 1
Full clean drivers licence
Ideally be based around Birmingham
Commercial Gas or Multi Skilled Engineer Remuneration
Basic Salary up to £38,000 (Depending on Experience)
Overtime
Travel Paid after 45 mins to and from site
On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)
Full equipped company van
Pension & 22 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays
Performance Bonus of up to £2600 per annum paid June and Dec
