If you are an experienced BI developer who enjoys working with data, problem-solving and provides excellent customer service - you belong at Bromford.

As a BI developer with us, you will be providing an invaluable service, playing a vital role in shaping the future of Bromford. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic and tactical business intelligence infrastructure.

We want you to promote the use of BI tools and concepts across the organisation, look after the day to day maintenance of data warehouse and reporting system and translate reporting requirements into well-documented specifications for BI reports and applications. You will design and implement the data loading (ETL) and publishing processes within the data warehouse and BI environments, design and implement reporting applications including BI dashboards, reporting cubes and static reports.

You should design and create data cubes and multi-dimensional structures to support reporting requirements and convert identified existing reporting applications to a standardised infrastructure using standard SQL and MS BI products. You will be providing estimates for project scheduling, be responsible for the documentation of BI architecture, ensuring system changes are managed and signed off following the teams change management process, and assess new and relevant technologies.

We want you to be somebody who:

Is an IT professional with a proven track record of BI development and strong technical knowledge
Has BI development experience and strong knowledge of database and reporting technologies
Can bring experience in report development using tools such as PowerBI (essential), Tableau, IBM Cognos, Oracle Hyperion and SAP BusinessObjects
Is experienced in using the Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and the design and implementation of ETL processes
Has good knowledge of dimensional modelling (e.g. OLAP/ROLAP), including applicability to various reporting requirements
Is experienced in reporting from Microsoft Dynamics D365 and strong working skills in SQL
Has the ability to present data in a range of formats, while understanding your audience
Is a great planner and problem solver
Is a strategic thinker and able to make decisions based on sound judgement
Is adaptable and willing to learn new skills
Experience in Finance / Financial reporting would be beneficial but not essential.
A genuine interest in the housing sector and a current understanding of external influences (desirable)
Believes in our DNA and will be a great ambassador for Bromford. This is a fixed-term contract for a period of 6-months. Depending on your location, this role can be based at either of our Wolverhampton (WV10), Tewkesbury (GL20) or Chipping Sodbury (BS37) offices.
