Supporting our Senior Consultants the Scientific Resourcer will be responsible for managing the flow of candidates through our London office, ensuring a professional and efficient service to SRGs Regional Clients within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medtech, Food, FMCG, Environmental, Chemicals and Research industries. We recruit for laboratory and non-laboratory scientific positions.
The role of the Scientific Resourcer focuses on sourcing the best candidates in the market for a range of vacancies within our clients businesses, our clients range from SME's to Global Blue Chip organisations and we are looking for someone who is professional, credible, ambitious, highly motivated and looking to develop a long term, successful career in recruitment.
Specific Responsibilities of the Scientific Resourcer will include;
Pro-actively source new candidates for complex and innovative scientific positions
Managing new candidate registrations using technical and competency interviewing techniques
Networking and advertising new vacancies
Organising mailing campaigns to clients and candidates
Strong communication skills and the ability to build good external and internal customer relationships are paramount to being successful in this role. This is an exciting opportunity to use you scientific knowledge and commercial skills within a fast-paced business environment. This role would be suitable for an experienced resourcer looking to take the next step in their career or a Scientist with sales, Technical Support, telesales, Customer Support or business development experience looking to move away from a hands-on technical or laboratory role.
The Scientific Resourcer will have a scientific degree/background (biology, chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, pharmaceutical science, pharmacology or forensic science etc) or have previous work experience within a recruitment, sales, account management, business development, telesales or customer service environment. Previous experience working in a commercial laboratory would be an advantage.
