Complex Support Worker - Part Time Nights
Better Healthcare Specialist Care Team works with adults and young children with long term clinical needs, providing a high standard of care in service users own homes.
Our specialist team supports clients with Acquired brain Injury (ABI), Ventilated conditions, Spinal cord injury, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Mental health and many other complexities.
We are recruiting for support workers to provide support to a gentleman in his own home. He is quadriplegic due to a spinal injury and is at high risk of autonomic dysreflexia. Our client lives in Lingwood and requires support overnight, successful candidates will be supporting with:
Safe mobility and transferring
Administering medication
Catheter care
Personal care
Monitoring and observing
Responding to any needs through the night
Successful candidates will be working 22:00 - 07:00, on a set rota covering a maximum of 2 nights per week.
For this role a minimum of 3 months previous care experience is essential along with a caring nature, some experience supporting people with clinical needs would be beneficial.
