Your Mission at BMG.

To help business decisions by support sales analytics teams with building high-quality and automated data pipelines.

Your Responsibilities.

  • Automate Data Quality reporting for sales data pipelines.
  • Overlook ETL architecture and code quality of sales data pipelines.
  • Ensure business logic is correctly translated into code and documented.
  • Enable users from multiple business units to efficiently access sales data via BI Tools, SQL interfaces and Jupyter Hub.
  • Ensure alignment of entity hierarchies across different business units.

Your Profile.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 2 years of work experience in the field
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and business experts.
  • Pro-active and collaborative
  • High sense of accountability
  • Desire to help and support other people learning new skills
  • Advanced SQL
  • Python
  • Good understanding of cloud computing
  • Understand characteristics of different database systems
  • Know how to use Git
  • Undergraduate degree in an engineering or quantitative subject
  • Interest in Coding and Data
  • Interest in Music

Desirable (but not essential) Skills & Experience

  • Open source contributions in the field of data engineering
  • Demonstrable ability in self-directed learning
  • Scala and Java
  • ML engineering skills
  • Apache Airflow and Spark
  • Jupyter Hub

  • PostgreSQL
  • Google Datastudio and Tableau (optional)
