SEMH Support
Protocol Education are looking for experienced SEMH Learning Support Assistants to join our agency!
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs in a learning environment or working in a similar role such as counselling or therapist.
You will offer the student therapeutic support and academic support; you will work alongside the schools Learning Mentor and SENDCO.

Requirements:
• Have experience with Mental Health or Social and Emotional Needs
• Working in a therapeutic role
• Knowledge of the curriculum
• Positive relationships with all children
• Creative and flexible approach to teaching
• Excellent behaviour management skills
Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00
