We have multiple opportunities for talented and ambitious Senior Leaders of Learning to join a significant group of schools operated by Wey Education in the following area: English and Humanities. These are home based positions and you will be working on a full-time basis teaching between 35-42 weeks per annum. In return you will receive a highly competitive salary of £37,100 per annum.

About the role:

Our Senior Leaders of Learning manage and support Leaders of Learning with their subject specialist departments. You will also support with teaching and are presented with a 50% timetable to deliver live lessons from KS2 to KS4 via our online classrooms.

As our Senior Leader of Learning, you will:

- Support the Head of Faculty (HoF) in the implementation of the new education model and Education Strategy.

- Be responsible for excellent and engaging learning experience and incremental changes and innovations to the way education is delivered.

- Support the school improvement and quality plans in their Faculty areas in line with inspection regimes, internal quality framework and new accreditation models.

- Manage the day to day activities and performance of the Leaders of learning, lesson observations, course development, marking, report writing, recruitment and training.

- Support student services support development and shaping to continuously improve the student experience.

- Support the HoF on human resources coordination and liaison for the faculty with allocated HR Business partner.

- Support the faculty reaching targets of the workstreams and programmes of the Education Strategy.

- Work closely with HoF to ensure student performance is optimised and the operational matters are organised efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications our ideal Senior Leader of Learning will have:

- Ideally qualified to degree level in a related subject area and have a recognized teaching qualification

- Knowledge of the education sector

- Highly analytical and data orientated

- Change and business improvement-focused

- Leadership capability

- Able to work effectively in dynamic and changing environments

- Experience of working in the primary, secondary or college sector and in state or independent school sector

- Operational background in education

Specifically our ideal Senior Leader of Learning will have:

- Expertise and experience of working across the education system in the UK, have excellent subject knowledge

- Knowledge of best ways to engage children in your subject of expertise and able to translate this across other related subject areas

- Capability of leading teachers, role modelling best practices and have a reputation for delivering high quality improvements and implementing curriculum development

- Have experience of delivering sustainable quality improvements using educational technology, online and blended approaches to learning

- The ability to motivate and manage a team, while having the courage to make difficult decisions when necessary

- Strong business awareness and the ability to focus on setting and meeting demanding targets
