Network Construction Services is currently recruiting Framework Engineering Manager based in London for a Permanent position.
Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of technical and design aspects of project lifecycle, from bidding stage through design, mobilisation, construction, completion, handover and final account
* Act as a focus for internal and external technical and design resources and manage them to deliver successful solutions for projects on the framework that allow client to build a reputation and secure more projects on the framework
* Build effective relationships with Network Rail's design and approvals team, especially the DPE
* Evaluate GRIP 4 solutions provided by Network rail and co-ordinate design activity at bid stage, to deliver solutions on time and to required standard
* Provide technical expertise to bid process for permanent and temporary works, facilitating take-off, estimating, supply-chain quotations and risk evaluation
* Support post-tender negotiation with client team
* Contract mobilisation including procurement of design team to deliver GRIP 5 design to required standard and programme
* Application of contract procedures for change during design process
* Support PM to meet requirements for Health and Safety, Quality and Environment by consideration through the design process
* Line management of project resources including client staff, agency staff
* Representing the company at project and framework meetings with Network Rail
Specific competencies:
* PTS (essential)
* MICE (essential)
* Previous approval by Network Rail in CEM role (preferred)
