Staffing Match is working In Partnership with one of the UK's leading furniture companies near Avonmouth. Due to continued growth they require drivers mates / porters to join their team on a long term / temp to perm basis. If you are looking for long term work with a secure company this job is for you.
Due to location and start times you must live locally or have your own transport. Start date January 2021
The role:
Working as part of a 2 man crew home delivery team with a 7.5t driver. Contacting customers on the telephone to advise them of their delivery time. Delivering and installing furniture into customers homes, ensuring the highest level of customer service is achieved. Heavy lifting is involved.
4 days per week between Tuesday and Saturday.
05:00 - 07:00 starts
48 hours per week (Average hours are 40 - 42, you still get paid 48 hrs)
Full training is provided
You will need to have a criminal check which we can organise for you
Rate of pay £9.00 ph. The Person:
Able to work as part of a 2 man team
Able to work in a demanding job that requires you to load and unload your vehicle, deliver and assemble furniture
Excellent customer service skills and telephone manor
