Job Overview
Based within the business continuity department, you will be responsible for reviewing work orders which come through via email. You will then have to check that all information is correct and accurate and import into Excel (via macro). After this, you will need to articulate a summary to senior management team for them to review. If there are any errors with the work orders (eg no attachments or wrong information), you will need to liaise with the stakeholder it is from to rectify and send back. This is sometimes done via Microsoft Teams meeting so you can amend live. On average, you will be checking and amending 35 work orders a week. In busier times, it will be more so you will need to be comfortable working in strict SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of the Project Demand Board and process
  • Analysing SCM data, creating and executing on improvement plan and corrective actions
  • Participate in organising Supplier Conferences.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the OneSCM community
  • Work with key business stakeholders across the IT, Networks, Commercial & Services, and Enterprise categories.
  • Working closely with finance colleagues.
  • Create and deliver presentations relating to projects in support of team activity.
  • Support in corrective actions for KPI adherence
  • Provide support to internal and external (setting up, preparing for and participating in).
  • Owning the UK market delivery of the annual SPM round (Supplier Performance Management).
  • Support Key projects and UK SCM deliverables

Experience needed

  • Usage of Microsoft Office - Excel to advanced level
  • Ability to work independently
  • Confident in speaking to senior level stakeholders and challenging them where necessary
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
  • Understanding of an operational Supply Chain function, preferably 2+ years
  • Strong analytical/numerical skills and Data Analysis skills are essential
  • Be able to show an energetic and innovative approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Embrace and drives the change agenda, does not shy away from challenging situations
  • Understands the benefit for and promotes cross-functional working.
  • Understands organisational structure and systems, and the impact of decisions.
  • Basic project management skills, an understanding of what is required to take a project from idea to business as usual
  • Comfortable with technology, able to learn to use new systems quickly, fully embraces the digital agenda, along with Office 365 suite from Microsoft
  • Knowledge and experience of change management and cutover planning for new technology releases
  • Understands the business and Supply Chain strategies
