Assessment Compliance Officer – Part Time FTC
£35,000 - £40,000 pro rata, per annum 
South West London

My client, a leading membership body, are looking for an Assessment Compliance officer. You will be the lynchpin between the company and the external exams regulatory body to ensure that all assessment and quality assurance activities remain compliant.  Experience with working with an external exams’ regulator is essential for this role.

This is a part time role 3 days per week role on a 6-month contract basis (could be an opportunity to go permanent).

The successful candidate will have up to one weeks’ notice as this is an urgent role to fill.

The role:

- To build and maintain the membership's positive relationship with Ofqual as a professional qualification awarding organisation.
- To manage the Institute’s application for recognition with Ofqual as an end-point assessment organisation
- To lead on activity relating to the ongoing compliance of all assessment and quality assurance activities relating to the external regulation of end point assessment.
- To support the apprenticeship manager with activity relating to the review of Internal Audit apprenticeship standards
- Support communication with other regulatory bodies
- Undertaking other activities as directed by the Apprenticeship & CPE Manager
- Manage the application for recognition with Ofqual for end point assessments in 2021
- Lead on activity relating to ongoing compliance with Ofqual

Knowledge, qualifications and experience:

- Experience with working with an external exams’ regulator is essential for this role.
- Experience of working with external regulatory bodies, in particular Ofqual, is essential.
- Experience of working for a membership organisation or professional body is desirable.
- Experience of building effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- A team player able to work with other teams and our external colleagues with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
- Confident and skilled in negotiating schedules and deadlines internally and externally.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
