Business Manager in Cheshire

The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Business Manager to join Swansway. The role of a Business Manager is to identify, based on individual suitability and requirements, appropriate funding and insurance options for customers and meet agreed dealership standards.

The role would also be involved in leading a team of Sales Executives to deliver exceptional customer experience and to deliver maximised profitability. Supporting a controlled sales process, you will work alongside our Head of Business and General Sales Manager to sell new and used vehicles and a range of add-on products, finance and asset protection products. You will energise and deliver sales campaigns and promotions that maximise sales and generate buzz and enthusiasm in the team whilst delivering the highest levels of customer service. Regular coaching, robust management and constant customer interaction is at the heart of this role.
More about the role:
Understanding all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations to ensure accurate information is given when negotiating a sale
Building rapport with customers quickly and easily and able to treat customers fairly
Monitoring finance and insurance performance against budget; identifying and addressing shortfalls
Assisting management in planning, forecasting trends, and revising plans for the dealership on an ongoing basis
Working with management to coach and develop the skills of the team to achieve business objectives.
Qualifying customer's demands and needs so the most appropriate insurance products are recommended
Logging all activity to monitor performance, measure outcomes and provide regular feedback to Management
Appraise used cars in the absences of Sales Manager

More about you:
Minimum of 12 months experience working in a regulated finance environment
Excellent customer service skills - ability to build rapport and identify needs
Used to following a strict sales process
Good understanding of finance and insurances packages
Must have a valid driving licence

We're expanding our own-brand, Motor Match our used sites, and we don't stop at dealerships; we operate four Volkswagen Group Trade Part Centres, an Accident Repair Centre, a Group Fleet Sales Centre and an eBay shop re-cycling obsolete parts. All this is supported by our Head Office in Crewe.
