MSX International are currently recruiting for an Automotive Warranty Helpdesk Engineer. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will join our Colchester based team and spend 50% of your time working from home.

What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as a Bi-Lingual Automotive Warranty Helpdesk Engineer with MSXI Global, you will provide essential customer support for one of our longstanding automotive partners - a leading global vehicle manufacturer.

You will be given full training and ongoing support, helping you to establish yourself as a trusted technical expert within the extensive dealership network. You will manage your work predominantly via electronic contact method and email. Working with the dealer network, you will review multiple customer warranty claims and record your findings in our bespoke tracking tools. You will also be responsible for:

Accept and attempt to resolve enquiries from Customer Dealers (and Customer personnel)
Record data as required into a bespoke computer application (training provided)
Liaise with Customer Engineers / Staff on all issues associated directly with Prior Approval Helpdesk obtaining clarification from the Team Leader / Project Management if required
Write and circulate data to other Helpdesk Engineers / Field Engineers / Project Management / Customer Dealer Staff
Liaise with Team Leader / Project Management on Vehicle Case Histories, trends and analysis
Liaise with Dealership personnel at all levels
Participate in training / product information exchange with appropriate data sourcesWho are we looking for?

As our ideal candidate for the Automotive Warranty Helpdesk Engineer role, you will be passionate about the automotive industry and eager to build a career. You will also have the following skills and experience:

Customer service experience highly desirable
An interest in the automotive industry would be an advantage - the ideal candidate will have an aftersales background, but this is not essential
A basic understanding of the mechanics of a modern motor vehicle is required
Computer literate, able to use Microsoft OfficeWhat we can offer you:
