Pharmacy Technician ACT - Community exp accepted - Hospital - Lancashi
Hunter AHP Resourcing have a fantastic locum opportunity based with one our most esteemed and well established NHS clients, for an ACT accredited Pharmacy Technician to join their inpatient hospital service on a regular basis. This role currently lies exclusively with our agency, therefore your application will be fast tracked direct to the hiring manager!
The role will be purely based in the inpatient pharmacy dispensary, there is no patient facing contact in this role. You will be accuracy checking medication and completing other general dispensary related duties, there will be a mix of different medications and prescriptions that you will be working with. The working pattern will be 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, there will be no on call or weekend working needed. For the right applicant, part time working may be considered (3 days per week).
Applicants must have some form of pharmacy experience, whether from the community or hospital sector, and you must hold the ACT qualification to be considered. Please note, prior NHS Hospital experience is NOT a must here, so it offers the chance for a Pharmacy Technician to break into the hospital sector, and kick start their NHS career!
The service are seeking someone to start as soon as possible (early January 2021), and the role will be a contract length of 2/3 months.
The service is based in the heart of Lancashire (please enquire for precise location) and there is free parking available on site.
