Senior Site Engineer - Construction Projects / RC Frames
The Company
Due to sustained growth, this multi-disciplined main contractor is bucking the trend during the pandemic and is looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join their team and enhance their reputation for delivering key projects, with quality & best practice at the forefront of everything they do.
The Opportunity
Working for a renowned main contractor that is delivering construction projects on a national scale, you will be working as a Senior Site Engineer on large RC Frame projects, ranging from £40-£80m in the West Midlands initially, reporting into the project manager, you will be responsible for all facets of engineering on these busy sites.
The Role
The company is looking for individuals who demonstrate the following experience & skills:
* Proven knowledge as a Senior Engineer on construction projects of high-value.
* Experience of multi-room development construction projects (PRS, BTR, Student Accommodation etc)
* RC Frames experience.
* High-storey builds experience ( nice to have, not essential)
* Set-out of sites & planning input/ short-term maps, site meeting input
* Materials pricing, take-off & ordering, as well potential savings analysis on designs
* Bulk order material reconciliations
* Subcontractor management, site safety input
* Ensuring quality is ensured
* Working with tender teams and establishing ground levels to fix levels
* Recommending and implementing relevant technology to improve processes & quality
* Comfortable working on projects that require you to have knowledge of multiple processes
* Relevant industry qualifications - ONC/HNC B Eng, NVQ or equivalent experience
* AutoCAD knowledge and computer literate
The role will be based in the West Midlands.
