Kinetic PLC are currently recruiting for a Production Engineering Labourer based in the north of Manchester. Our client is a high-end manufacturing /engineering company who manufacturer new build packaging machinery. Our client has an excellent and global reputation within their sector and due to the success of 2020 within their company they are now looking for someone who can start immediately and hit the ground running for their exciting year 2021.
This is a rare opportunity and our client is looking for someone who has excellent work ethic/ time keeping and who is keen to learn new parts of the trade.
Salary: basic rate £9.74 per hour, overtime rate £14.61 per hour with annual bonus opportunities
Hours: This is a full time and ongoing position with a possibility of moving over to a permanent contract. Contract being Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm
Duties:
As a Production Engineering Labourer your main duties will be:
*Helping insert plastic and paper film in to the machines.
*Quality checking the products
*Getting involved in other parts of production when needed
*Pack the plastic and paper films so they are ready to be sent to clients.
*Help with Moving the machines in and around the workshop.
*Using a crane and sling. (training will be provided if needed)
*Ensuring Machines are ready to be viewed and inspected by clients.
*Cleaning the machines as and when required.
*Ensuring area around the machines is clean.
To be successful in the position as a Production Engineering Labourer, you must:
*Must have excellent work ethic
*Have brilliant timekeeping
*Work efficiently
*Ensure all Health and safety regulations are met.
*Be able to work overtime when required
*Be a strong team player
*Have an FLT license (Counterbalance) would be desirable
*Be a good worker and willing to help out in other departments if necessary.
*Good customer service/social skills as you will be introduced to clients
