Teachright East Anglia are recruiting for a Psychology Teacher for an independent CO-Educational School, situated in coastal Suffolk. This role would be starting immediately with planning & marking responsibility for A level students. This post would be 2 days per week for a duration of 6months with the opportunity to go permanent at the end.
Ideally you will have:
A degree / PGCE / NQT status/ instructor of psychology
UK QTS or working towards UK QTS - NARIC & Overseas QTS will be considered with at least 1 year of UK Teaching experience
Are confident leading A level classes.
Have good behaviour management skills
Have a genuine passion for teaching childrenFor this position, you will need experience working with A level Students, an accurate understanding of the current curriculum, excellent subject knowledge in your subject field and up to date knowledge of the safeguarding guidelines.
You will join a welcoming, supportive, and popular department within the school. Benefiting from long term leadership and experience, you will have guidance from outstanding senior management.
This role is open to experienced teachers and those just about to qualify and will be paid on the MPR/UPR and to scale. TLRs maybe on offer to more experience's candidates.
NQTs will benefit from a proven NQT induction programme with a very high success rate for those achieving full qualified teaching status. Your NQT mentor has taught in schools for over 20 years and has the knowledge to intrust onto future teachers
