As an approved National Tutoring Programme Tuition Partner, Connex Education Partnership is currently recruiting for classroom based primary tutors in Wisbech.
Due to working exclusively with a trust across Cambridgeshire we are looking for a high number of experienced tutors to support students who may have fallen behind due to lockdown/ Covid.
Our schools are looking for classroom based primary tutors for an immediate or January 2021 start.
Due to the current situation we are in you will be assigned to one school for both continuity for the students, parents and school as well as to reduce mixing with different bubbles and groups.
Our main priority is the safety and wellbeing of all our staff, schools and students. Should you have any concerns about working within a school we will always take these into consideration.
As a successful teacher you will possess:
* QTS or equivalent, and have recent experience in teaching and/or tutoring
* Good knowledge of the primary school curriculum
* Be able to explain key concepts fluently and accurately
* Be prepared to tutor face to face and/or online depending on any local lockdowns/closures
* The ability to work to the school's scheme of work and provide constructive and effective feedback
* Good time management to fully utilise the sessions.
All tutors must complete our mandatory online training (set by the NTP and DfE).
