Are you an apprenticeship trained sheet metal worker? Would you like tol join a specialist engineering company based in Oldham, providing sheet metal fabrication for the Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and food industries.
The Job
·Read drawings, select grade and thickness of material, and manufacture to a high standard
· Marking out and cutting of patterns
· Experience of working to fine tolerances of 0.2mm
· Strong Sheet Metal/fabrication knowledge
· Welding knowledge an advantage
· Assembly experience
· Operate CNC Press Brake, Guillotine, power folder, press brake, formers
· Liaise with Contract Manager, Works manager and Inspection
About You
Have you worked as a Sheet metal worker?
· Able to read, understand drawings.
· Can work to strict deadlines.
· Willingness to work overtime.
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
· Apprenticeship trained
