This is a cutting-edge contract, and the big aim is to stop re-offending. Together with their supply chain partners, you will provide specialist support to ensure that people do not re-offend (the re-offending rates in the UK are around 70%) by ensuring that they have a stable progressive release, with support around housing, family re-integration, drug and alcohol support (delivered by partner providers) and employment support (delivered by yourself).
You will work with a caseload of 50-60, providing one to one support to ex-offenders who have served a minimum 12 months sentence. There are a range of targets to work to, such as job starts, short courses, work experience, vocational training or general support measures, so you also need to be goal and target motivated with the ability to work independently.
To apply, you might have worked as a Support Worker, Employment Advisor, Recruitment Consultant, Resettlement Worker or be a criminology graduate looking to develop a career
