Princess Yachts are seeking Fit Out Carpenters throughout their 6 Plymouth based sites.
Main Purpose of the job:
Installation of furniture, fittings, lining, plumbing and other associated work as part of the total boat construction. Main Duties: Scribe in units and trim/adjust to shape and size requirements. Basic plumbing of sinks, toilets, holding tanks & showers. Final fitting of hardware (port-holes, fridges and canopies). Running trunking for air con and central heating systems. Make patterns for customizing and custom fitting of units/equipment. Sign off boat file for compliance.
Qualification/Experience:
Recognized Carpentry apprenticeship. Level 2, 3 or both in NVQ or similar type qualification. Boat building qualification. Time served Carpenter/Boat Builder with 3 years experience.
