Independent Reviewing Officer - Children's Planning & Review Team
A Local Authority near the Jurassic are seeking a full time Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) to join the Children's Planning & Review Team and play a central role in achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

As an IRO you are critical in carrying out the quality assurance function for children including chairing statutory reviews, supporting children's participation and making sure their views are heard and that they impact upon plans.
You will be expected to maintain oversight and contact with children between reviews to ensure their plans are being realised in a timely way. You will be proactive in promoting children's physical health, emotional well-being, education and help them successfully transition as to adulthood. On behalf of our children you will also carry out the statutory function of holding the Council to account role as corporate parent.
To be considered for this post you will have prior experience as a senior commissioning offer or have experience within this filed, you will also be require to provide the last 3 years worth of references, your right to work document as well as proof of address.
