Creative Support is a national, fast growing not-for-profit organisation providing support to individuals with a wide range of care needs. We are currently looking to add a Female Support Workers to our relief team in Tilehurst and the wider Reading area.
We are looking for flexible, warm, dedicated and motivated individuals to work in a person centred way with older people throughout the Reading area at our extra care service. As part of our Relief team in Reading you will need to be flexible in shift cover across the area over the weekend.
Support Worker Duties:
- Respectful personal care, practical and emotional support to older people,
- Supporting service users to retain their independence for as long as possible,
- Identifying and accessing opportunities with the service users to support them to lead meaningful and fulfilling lifestyles,
- Collaborating with service users, families, and involved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated service that meets the needs of service users,
- Working as part of a team and alone in service user homes.
Experience is essential for this role.
