We are a global leader in engineering consultancy looking for a talented Graduate Renewables Consultant to join our fast-growing Performance team within the Renewables business unit. You will be part of a talented & sociable team of Consultants actively supporting our clients in the implementation of sustainable energy generation, transmission and distribution.

As a Graduate Consultant with RINA, you can expect to work on a variety of exciting projects in several different countries in Europe and beyond, including activities as diverse as solar irradiation studies, energy yield assessments, feasibility studies, technical due diligence, project development support to owners, construction and operation monitoring, market studies, and a lot more. Main sub-sectors are energy yield and performance.

This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious STEM graduate with a flair for analytical thinking and a key eye for numbers, looking to enhance your technical skillset whilst building a successful career in Consulting.


Who you'll be:

A Graduate with a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or above in Maths, Physics, Engineering Renewable Energy Systems or related subject

Experience using software such as PVsyst, WindPro, WAsP or similar is highly desirable.

Self-motivated and organised, with excellent attention to detail, driven to make a difference, you’ll be confident in your abilities, ready to achieve your goals and develop your technical skills 

A keen problem solver with an analytical mind which you use to promote innovative ideas and thinking

Excellent soft skills to successfully liaise with colleagues and clients, and good team working skills

A competent writer able to accurately assemble written and numerical data into presentations and reports that can be easily understood by non-technical readers

Client focused, keen to understand more about us, our customers and ready to develop your commercial knowledge

Willing to work on international assignments with international colleagues and clients - Language skills are a plus (i.e. Portuguese, Spanish, French, Arabic), as well as previous international experience

 

Where you'll work

You will be based at our vibrant office in central Brighton, but some travels may be required

You’ll need to be mobile, happy to travel and work away on customer sites when needed
