Job description

Fantastic opportunity to work within the Finance office of a leading and global retail organisation.

The role is based in their London office and will see you take ownership of their IBM Planning Analytics platform.

Responsibilities:

Oversee architecture, lead developers and consulting partners
Communicate amends and enhancements to the local and wider global group to ensure standardization across the application worldwide
Be the voice of their Finance IT initiatives, exploring new technologies that can be harnessed for a more efficient system
Set best practices and system standards
Guarantee best user experience through fast performing system calculations
Provide requirements to infrastructure team and work in close collaboration of monitoring needs around infrastructure and security maintenance
Coordinate with other system teams to gain support for the goals of individual projects
Manage a team of Lead Developers and Architects
Mentor and assist team members to grow in their technical ability and in new technological trends and ways of working
Ensure that the support center has the right skills to process requests efficiently

Requirements:

BS or BA required, preferably in Information Systems. MBA or CPA is a plus
Financial software certification, particularly in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and/or IBM Planning Analytics
10 years’ experience in EPM implementations
Technical expertise in programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap, SQL, REST, Python)
Experience in system maintenance and support with an offshore 3rd party team
Expertise in infrastructure setup and installations of EPM solutions
