Tribal are currently recruiting an Associate Technical Lead to join our Cloud Services team in Hessle. With a focus on achieving an outstanding customer experience the Associate Technical Lead support our Technical Leads with technical activities that relate to the implementation and on-going delivery of cloud application services for Tribal’s Higher Education customers.

As an Associate Technical Lead you will focus will be on providing support to customers throughout pre-sales and post-sales processes to ensure customer satisfaction. Working with Sales, Professional Services, Cloud Systems and Technical Architects you will ensure solutions offered achieve and exceed the expectations of the customer.

You core responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supporting with activities that provide successful installation of core product to customers.
  • Provide assistance to Technical Leads during the delivery of cloud application services for both the internal Tribal project team and the customer during implementation and on-going delivery phases.
  • Develop strong customer relationships through direct communication with customers and third parties to achieve highest levels of customer satisfaction. Where possible to deliver proactive & preventative customer support activities.
  • Provide timely & consistent technical direction to support Implementation Consultants who are engaged in professional services deployments.
  • Monitor all customer incidents and service requests and collaborate with support teams to ensure effective and timely resolution.

Since Tribal is a global operation, our services operate 24/7 and there is a requirement for some teams to be available outside normal office hours and/or on call. The role may be required to manage customer plans which include very occasional weekend work or non-core business hours to achieve critical deadlines.

What you can bring to the role:

Applicants will ideally come from a similar customer facing technical role and be passionate about improving customer experience. You should have good understanding of Cloud Technologies, AWS, Azure etc., and some knowledge of Database fundamentals.

You should have expertise in numerous operating systems such as Windows and Linux, and good understanding of database fundamentals. Knowledge of Tribal’s SITS product is highly desirable, but not essential.

Alongside your technical abilities you must be an excellent communicator, be adept at creating strong and lasting customer relationships, and be a natural problem solver.
