About The Position

Hours - 37.5

Salary - £23,000 - £28,000 (Depending on experience)

Location - Based in Edinburgh (Remote until 2021 Q2)

We are searching for a talented Junior Developer to join our development team. You will be working alongside experienced developers on our various projects including Web Apps and Mobile Apps.


Progression, recognition and autonomy are key to building our product teams at ClearSky logic. The successful candidate will have the right potential to grow in software development experience as well as playing a key role in working directly with the product team to provide business-changing products within tight time-frames.

A Typical Day

  • You’ll be online remotely from around 9, the team communicate with Slack and video calls on google hangouts.
  • At 9:30am we have our daily standup and review the progress yesterday and any problems or upcoming work
  • You will work on your current task - pairing with another developer if needed. Typical tasks include building out new featuers to existings web apps or extending APIs with new endpoints.
  • Once your task is completed you will test and raise a pull request for one of the other developers to provide advice on the change.
  • The rest of the day is mainly working through your tickets on Jira or Trello, working closely with the rest of the development team, testing work and deploying to the required environments.
  • Most people log off between 4.30 and 5.30, occassionally you may be involved in an out of hours deployment for systems which are required to have no downtime during core hours.


Minimum Requirements

  • 1 years + Commercial Software Development Experienced (UK Based)


Must Have (This is a deal breaker for us, without at least some exprience in c# you will find it difficult to get through the technical assessment)
