Job description

My client, one of the key providers of Technical Water Industry training and qualification in the UK. They are looking to recruit trainers to cover a range of training programmes with Water companies. They are recognised and respected throughout the industry and work closely with most water companies across the UK

My client have secured a number of training delivery contracts with Water boards across the UK and have ongoing requirements for experienced industry professionals with a interest in giving back to the industry through training the next generation to NVQ/HNC standard

As such Carrington West are keen to speak with interested candidates with a strong background in Water Treatment nationally.

It's not essential that the successful Water Industry trainer has taught before as full training can be offered. They key thing is the passion to teach and the knowledge to do so.

Main Responsibilities

·Devise a bespoke delivery model to ensure the course is delivered as effectively as possible, based on the learning framework provided
·Undertake theoretical and practical teaching of classes, up to 6 students.
·Assess and monitor progress of students, addressing any performance/knowledge gaps as they arise
·Adapt teaching style according to each class to ensure maximum buy-in from students
·Transfer industry knowledge and experience to enhance the learning journey for students
·Ensure that students have sufficient knowledge and confidence to achieve industry qualification.

Anyone who can display good operational experience in the chosen field will certainly be considered, with my client offering successful candidates the opportunity to gain recognised teaching accreditations.

My client are keen to speak to freelance/contract tutors or industry professionals happy to work on this basis. The client are offering a salary of circa 35k plus a company vehicle and essential working equipment.

They are happy to handle interviews remotely during this time, and could even offer a "remote start" for the right candidates to get going despite the current uncertainty in our country.
